Privacy Policy
In this privacy policy, “you” and “your” refers to individuals participating in Cruz’s technical sourcing bootcamp and/or customers receiving leadership consulting, lead generation, direct placement, contract to hire or other product or services from Cruz (all of the foregoing, along with any applications, platforms or websites used to access the foregoing, being referred to collectively as the “Services”).
1. APPLICABILITY OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY
This Privacy Policy applies to the Services, the Site and other interactions you may have with Cruz (e.g., customer service inquiries, submission of forms, etc.). If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, do not access or use the Services, the Site or any other aspect of Cruz’s business.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to any third-party applications or software that integrate or connect with the Services or the Site (“Third-Party Services”), or any other third-party products, services or businesses. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, security standards, or content of Third-Party Services. You should check the privacy policies of those Third-Party Services before providing your personal information to them. The fact that our Site or Services contain or direct you to such Third-Party Services does not mean we approve or endorse them.

By submitting or making available Personal Data (as defined below) through the Services, Site or otherwise, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy and you expressly consent to the processing of Personal Data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
3. A NOTE ABOUT CHILDREN
Our Site, as well the Services, are not intended for children under 18 years of age. We do not intentionally gather or process Personal Data about individuals who are under the age of 18. If we inadvertently hold or have access to Personal Data about anyone under 18, please let us know so we can delete it.
4. TYPES OF PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT
Cruz may collect or receive various types of Personal Data and Anonymous Data (each as defined below) when you register for an account with us or otherwise uses or accesses our Services or Site, seek customer support, complete a form, or otherwise interact with us. This information may be collected directly from you (for example, when you register for an account) or indirectly through your browser when you visit our Site. “Personal Data” means data that allows someone to identify you, including, for example, name, address, telephone number, and email address, as well as any other non-public information that is associated with or linked to any of the foregoing data. “Anonymous Data” means data about you that is not associated with or linked to your Personal Data. Anonymous Data does not permit the identification of individual persons. We collect Personal Data and Anonymous Data, as described herein.
PERSONAL DATA YOU PROVIDE TO US
We collect Personal Data from you, which may include first and last name; email addresses; age; address and phone number; demographic information such as your gender, ethnicity and race; employment history; payment information and/or password, when you register for or otherwise accesses or uses the Services. We may also collect your email address and other Personal Data when you submit it through the Site for the purposes of obtaining more information about our Services, when you participate in games or promotions, or when you participate in group chats, instant messaging or message boards. If you provide us feedback or contact us for customer support or otherwise, we will collect your name and email address, as well as any other information provided to us during such interaction. And lastly, if you participate in surveys, contests, sweepstakes or promotions, or register for, attend or participate in webinars or events, then we may collect Personal Data from you in connection therewith.
A cookie is a small data file that is placed on the hard drive of your computer when you visit a website. These cookies may contain information (such as a unique user ID) that is used to track your usage of our Site. A number of cookies we use last only for the duration of your web or Services session and expire when you close your browser or exit the Services. - To provide and deliver the Services to our business customers (e.g., employers) with respect to their hiring needs;

- To carry out other lawful purposes about which we have notified our users; and
- For any other purposes with your consent.
We may create Anonymous Data records from Personal Data by excluding information that renders the data personally identifiable. Cruz may use Anonymous Data for any lawful business purpose, including but not limited to for research and analysis purposes.
6. DISCLOSURE OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
EMPLOYERS. We may share your Personal Data with our business customers (i.e., employers) and their in order to provide Services to them. For example, if you have completed our Cruz Academy training program and we are assisting you with finding a job, we will provide your Personal Data to our clients who have open positions to be filled.
SERVICE PROVIDERS: We sometimes use third-party service providers to act on our behalf, for example to help us process payments or to enhance and personalize your experience with us. These service providers are only allowed to use your Personal Data in connection with the specific service they provide on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
CHANGES TO OUR BUSINESS: Your Personal Data may be transferred to another organization if, for example, we transfer the ownership or operation of the Services because we have merged with or have been acquired by another organization, or if we liquidate our assets. In those cases, the new company’s use of your Personal Data will still be subject to this Privacy Policy and the privacy preferences you have expressed to us.
SAFETY AND SECURITY: We may disclose your Personal Data to third parties if we determine that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to: (a) protect any person from death or serious bodily injury; (b) prevent fraud or abuse of our site, Services or users or other illegal activity; (c) protect our rights, property, safety, or interest; or (d) perform a task carried out in the public interest. We reserve the right to report to the appropriate law enforcement or government agencies any information that we believe may be evidence of criminal activity or violation of any applicable law.
TO COMPLY WITH LAWS: If we receive a request for information, we may disclose your Personal Data and other information if we reasonably believe disclosure is in accordance with or required by any applicable law, regulation or legal process. For example, we may be required to share certain information to respond to a subpoena or similar judicial process.
ANONYMOUS DATA: Cruz may share Anonymous Data for any lawful business purpose, including publicly and with our partners. For example, we may share Anonymous Data publicly to show trends about the general use of our Services or trends about the job market and who is applying for jobs.
WITH CONSENT: We may share your Personal Data with third parties when you have given us consent to do so.
